Sola Sobowale, veteran\u00a0 actress, screenwriter, director, and producer, an African Giant<\/a> Sola Sobowale known for her remarkable acting skills celebrates her birthday on the 26th of December.<\/p>\n

Her claim to stardom came from the Superstory series, \u201cOh Father, Oh Daughter;\u201d she earned her nickname through the same TV series, \u2018Toyin Tomato.\u2019<\/p>\n

“Super Story” TV Series was very much the hottest at the time attracting a good amount of views from Africans in the diaspora. Toyin Tomato & Suara played their roles remarkably well.<\/p>\n

In the early 2000s. Toyin Tomato (Sola Sobowale) came across as energetic, fierce and strict yet a very enticing character to watch. It was easy to feel empathy towards the man who so much loved her, seeing how she toyed with his money and emotions & eventually dumped him.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her amazing performances in the movie \u2018The Wedding Party\u2019, helped make the movie one of the best movies produced in 2016.<\/p>\n

Also, her 2018 movie “King of Boys, a political thriller film\u00a0written, co-produced and directed by\u00a0Kemi Adetiba is a remarkable story and Sola was able to exercise her gifted acting skills to interpret her character brilliantly which allowed the movie to be a success but ofcourse with the joint effort by\u00a0Nollywood\u2019s finest actors and actresses including Jide Kosoko, Paul Sambo, Adesua Etomi, Toni Tones, Sharon Ooja, Ademola Adedoyin, Lanre Hasan (Iya Awero), Osas Ighodaro, Funlola Aofiyebi, Sani Mu\u2019azu, Paul Sambo and Reminisce and ill Bliss.<\/span><\/p>\n
