Blige had it tough before fame like some artists but indeed each story is unique as her new documentary “My Life” \u00a0addresses Blige\u2019s experiences with abuse, mental health issues and addiction. As the title suggests, the documentary which is directed by Vanessa Roth is centered on Blige\u2019s life’s journey to fame and her achievements so far. It also includes interviews with early collaborator Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs, as well as Alicia Keys and actress Taraji P. Henson.<\/p>\n
Co-produced by Ashaunna K. Ayars and Q. Nicole Jackson and executive produced by Mary J. Blige, Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs, Tara Long, Mark Ford, Kevin Lopez, Jeffrey Harleston and Jody Gerson, the documentary will reportedly follow the life of the legendary Queen of Hip-Hop and R&B.<\/p>\n
