Tiwa Savage, the well-known Nigerian singer, has recently announced that she is battling an undisclosed virus and has been advised to take a few months off from singing. In a statement posted on her Instagram page, she expressed her grief at having to postpone all her upcoming performances, including her very first headline arena show in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I\u2019ve been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months\u2026I’m heartbroken and devastated but I have to do this to save what\u2019s left of my voice,” she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
